The Institute of Physics of University of Latvia together with the Department of Physics of University of Latvia organizes a workshop "Use of magnetic fields in crystal growth" in Riga (Latvia) on December 5 - 6, 2003, in the Department of Physics of University of Latvia Zellu str. 8., Riga.

PREVIOUS WORKSHOP

In the frame of the EU COST action P6 "Magnetofluiddynamics" the Working
Group WG2
"Use of magnetic fields in crystal growth" has organised in Riga at Latvia University on 13.-14. June 2002 the Workshop "Use of magnetic fields in crystal growth". The organisation
of this workshop was supported by Forschungszentrum-Rossendorf, Germany (Dr. Gunter Gerbeth) and by Institute of Electrothermal Processes, University of Hanover, Germany
(Prof. Bernard Nacke, Prof. Alfred Muehlbauer). 15 scientists from Europa and Japan and 11 scientists from Latvia participited at this workshop. 22 reports were held.
